Interview with Danielle Burgio - The Walking Dead Webisodes

Danielle Burgio's diverse talents have led her down an exciting
path from Broadway dancer to top Hollywood stunt woman, to up-
and-coming actress of the moment, and as that path continues to
wind and take its turns, the future can only be golden for this
very talented young woman.
Danielle also portrayed Judy in Season One of The Walking Dead
Webisodes.

First, thank you for your time for this Interview Danielle.
Danielle, how did you get your role as Judy in The Walking Dead
Webisodes?

I had done several films with makeup effects master, Greg Nicotero in the past. In addition to exec. producing the show, this was his directorial debut so I was immensely honored when he contacted me to play Judy.  Of course I still had to go into the audition, meet with Greg and the casting directors and show off my zombie moves.

Working in an Zombieseries is not everyday job.Did you watch
the show or read the graphic novel for your role? When we filmed this, they were just prepping to launch Season 2 so it was pretty early on.

I had been watching Season 1 so had a good idea of the tone and style.

How was it work for The Walking Dead and would you work again
for this show, maybe in The Walking Dead TV Show or Fear the
Walking Dead?

Are you kidding me? It’s would be a dream come true! Love those shows and would love to be a part of either one.

If a zombie apocalypse were to happen which character from the
main show would you have at your side to survive?

I’m gonna have to go with Michonne. That girl is seriously bad-ass. Ruthless yet level headed with some mad samurai skills!

Danielle, you had orked for so many projects,The Green Mile ,
Hangover 3 , Matrix , The Amazing Spider Man, The Walking Dead and many many more. What was your personal Highlight so far?

TWD is up there for sure. Mostly because of the amazing fans and the interaction I have been blessed to have with them. I also feel that way about The Matrix sequels….getting to put on that Trinity suit was one of the most surreal moments of my career. So many highlights. I’m honestly so grateful for every gig, big and small…it’s a huge treat to be able to do what I love and love what I do….and actually get paid for it!

Are you currently working on anything interesting that you can
reveal?As actress or stuntdouble?

I just finished “Girl Trip” which is a short film I wrote, directed, produced and acted in. A huge endeavor that I’m really proud of. As far as the stunts go, I doubled Michelle Monaghan on “Sleepless Night”, a great action flick with Jamie Foxx that should be out later this year. Most recently wrapped up stunt doubling on the final episode of “Secrets and Lies” but can’t say more than than. Also worked a couple episodes of “Supergirl”  I also did one of my first stunt coordinating gigs on an indie feature “Blackout”, which just released on Redbox. I also got to play one of the supporting lead roles and that was a blast!

Danielle you had stunt-doubled stars like Kelly Hu,Kate
Beckinsale,Jennifer Lopez and many more. Is there any star you
would loved to be her double or a special movie you would loved
to be in?

Yes! I’m dying to double Sandra Bullock. People tell me all the time that I would be a great double and she has a reputation for being one of the coolest chicks in the biz. It’s also on my bucket list to work with The Cohen Brothers and Quentin Tarantino.

At the last some words to your Fans and The Walking Dead World?
Keep Calm and Look at the Flowers
