Today i have the pleasure to make an Interview with Candace Hammer.

She is a graduate of the Meisner Extension at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. While at Tisch she studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She also has her Masters from NYU in acting. She was born in
Germany, and traveled all over the United States as an Air Force Brat.

First, thank you Candace for your time. You born in Germany, thats right? Do you speak some german too?

Nein- I wish I still remembered! I only have a couple words and phrases left.

Candace, you played in some of my favorite TV Series, one of them is "Lost" where you played the Nurse Debra in the episode "What happend, happend". what are some of your favourite memories from your time on the show?

I remember getting cast, and then the show going on Christmas break for three weeks.  So I decided I would watch all four seasons to know what was happening when I read the script.  Well when I finally got the script I still had no idea what was happening. (Season 5 was when the time travel got intense)  But I definitely knew the show really well!

I also remember getting to set and being really nervous because it was my first time working in TV.  Elizabeth Mitchell and Evangeline Lilly were in the first scene with me and made me feel so welcomed.  It helped me to calm down and focus.

Some weeks ago i saw you as Dylan Einstein in the Crimeseries "Criminal Minds" ,in my eyes together with NCIS the best Crime TV Shows today, what can you say about work together with Shemar Moore, Matthew Gray Gubler, Thomas Gibson and
all the other great actors?

I loved working with Matthew and Shemar- they are very generous actors and people.  The whole cast and crew has the rhythm and familiarity of a family.  They have been shooting the show for over a decade now and it's incredible to see the ease with which they all work.

Your role as Dylan Einstein was so funny that i would love to see more, how would you describe Dylan Einstein?

I would describe Dylan as a cross between Zooey Deschanel in The New Girl  and Lauren Graham in Gilmore Girls.  I loved playing her.  Rick Dunkle wrote the episode and did an amazing job creating this really smart, curious, and playful girl.  My main goal was to have fun bringing her to life, and to make sure, even though she was a genius, she still felt like a real person.

Candace you worked for many other Series and shows like " House of Cards" , "Aquarius" , "Naked Radio" and more, where will we see you next?

Next I'll be working on NCIS: LA, and a new show on FOX called 'Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life.'

Some dream project for the future?
I would love to play a solider.  My whole family is in the military.  Being able to tell their stories, would be my small way of giving back.

At the Last you can send some words to your Fans Candace?

Thank you so much for the love and support- you guys are the best!
