- How did you get your role in the AMC Series The Walking Dead as Shaved Head Wolf?
Thanks for having me. Well, let me tell you it was a long process. I originally auditioned back in 2013, came extremely close to being on show but unfortunately it didn’t land my way. Then over the course of three years there were other roles I read for but they just weren’t a fit. I finally lucked out and was casted as the shaved head wolf in Season 6 and the rest was history. I really feel production always had a idea of what they wanted me to play but it was just going to take some time. 3 years worth anyway (laughs).

- LaBrandon ,  did you watch the show or read the graphic novel, prior to
your casting to The Walking Dead?

You know what, I’ve always been a fan of the show ever since the first episode in season one. I actually later started reading the graphic novel throughout the casting process. Its really amazing and raw storytelling. It only gets better and better in the later issues.

- When you watched TWD the first time do you ever think that you will be a part in this series some day?
When I first watched TWD I never really thought that Id be a part of the series. I was in college and just started to explore the idea of being an actor. I knew there was a lot to learn about acting. I believe my desire for wanting to land a role on the show happened right after watching the first season. The show completely took off and I really believe I planted a seed in the universe.

- Working with Andrew Lincoln or one of the Maincast Members will be
a dream for every
TWD Fan, what can you say about working with some of this guys?

It was a absolute pleasure to get to work with Lennie James, Seth Gilliam, and Melissa Mcbride. I have to say I’ve never been a part of a show where there is so much love and a sense of family than there is with TWD.  You truly feel so welcome when you work with these wonderful people. Lennie James was brilliant to watch and work with on set. He was also very giving as well. I consider myself a newbie in the acting world and he was very helpful on set in our scene. I can only hope to get to work with them again in some capacity.

- You work in only one episode but Fans knows you. You was be a Guest at a german Convention for this job.How much has the series The Walking Dead influenced your life? Can you
go outside unrecognized ?

I loved being invited to the German weekend of dead walkers. Everyone I had the pleasure of meeting there are truly so kind and generous. I still keep in contact with a few people I met there. I would love to go back and do another convention there! As for going outside unregognized, its not a problem whatsoever (laughs.)  I can go most places and Im not looked at twice. Every once in a while someone may say I look familiar and ask about the show but its not a everyday thing.

- What was the best thing or the funniest moment about working on The
Walking Dead?Is there something special you can share with us?

I had a very funny yet painful moment while working in a scene with Lennie James. We were working on a fight scene were his character was suppose to swipe my head closely with his wooden staff. We shot several takes during the fight and on one take I got hit on the ear on accident and I kid you not my ear was ringing for a good 3 minutes! I loved it though. I believe they went with that take (laughs.)

- 2016 you work in Triple 9 with many big Actors like Casey Affleck (Oceans Eleven) ,Kate Winslet (Titanic) . Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) , Woody Harrelson (Zombieland). How was it work with this Stars and the movie?
Triple 9 was my very first big job. When I found out I was casted in the film I thought my agents were playing a sick joke on me. I really didn’t think it was real. Working with Casey Affleck and Anthony Mackie was like working with some of your good friends from film school. It was so fun and unbelievably easy going. The director John Hillcoat let us improv and it really added so much to the scene. Watching those guys work on set was like watching a master class in acting. I will always push myself and my work when thinking about those guys preparation.

- Are you currently working on anything interesting Movie or Series
outside "The Walking Dead" that you can reveal?

Absolutely, I just finished shooting a horror film in Las Vegas called Art of the Dead starring Tara Reid and Richard Grieco. Its about a art collector who collects 7 paintings that happen to possess the 7 deadly sins and the effect it has on his family. Really excited about it. It has such a talented cast and I really think a lot of people will dig it. Im also working on a Kickboxing film that Im personally writing.

- Is there anything else you would like to let The Walking Dead Fans and
your fans know?

I would like the Walking Dead fans to know that the love I have for the show is mutual and we all really are a big global family. Im looking forward to season 9 and seeing where this story telling takes us. Much love to you and thanks again.

Thank you very much for your time and all the best for the future and
maybe see you someday back in Germany.
