Today i have the pleasure to make an Interview with Billy Ray Gallion.

Billy Ray Gallion is an actor, known for X-Files (2000), Lost (2004 -2010) and Hawaii Five-O (2011) and many more

First, thank you Billy Ray Gallion for your time.

 

 

Billy Ray, you played in some of my favorite TV Series,one of them is "Lost" where you played Randy Nations between 2004 and 2010 in 5 episodes. what are some of your favourite memories from your time on the show?

Favorite memories? There’s a lot for this one. The first and biggest memory with regards to LOST is the fact that it resuscitated my career. I had actually moved to Oahu with the intention of “hangin’ it up”. About a month after moving, I was sittin’ with a cup of coffee and reading the Honolulu Advertiser, when I came upon an article talking about a new show beginning to be filmed on the islands called LOST. I thought, what the hell, and went and auditioned for it. After I read for a smaller part they had me read for the character “Randy Nations”. Booked it, and I haven’t lost my love for acting since. Other favorite memories are of course working with Terry O’Quinn and Jorge Garcia who are both fantastic to work with, and getting to fly first class to Hawaii lol.

 

Some weeks ago i saw you in the Crimeseries "Hawaii Five-O" ,in my eyes one of the best Crime TV Shows today, what can you say about work together with Alex O'Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim and all the other great actors?

I mainly worked with Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park. Both our incredibly nice people. I remember the first day shooting, Daniel’s Niece and Nephew came to the set and he introduced me as Uncle Billy, which I thought was pretty damn cool of him. Grace and I hit it off from the start and have remained friends since. We had a running gag with each other where before a shot we would eat something that gave our breath a pungency that could peel paint just to fuck with each other

 

 

Billy Ray you worked for many other Series and shows like " Pacific Blue" , "Charmed" , "Hawaii" and more, where will we see you next? I saw on Imdb you will work as Troll in "Against Blood"?

“Against Blood” is making the short film festival rounds and is getting great response. Scorpion on CBS just aired a couple weeks ago where I played a dangerous megalomaniac named, “Ryder”. That’s everything for the moment. As I write this we’re a few days short of the New Year, after that, “Pilot” season and the whole town gets back to grindin’.

 

 

You also played in X-Files 2000 in one episode as Retro. now The X-Files comes back, what do you think about an Reunion of this TV Show?

I know that it’s coming back so I will definitely be tuning in, but a reunion that includes me will be impossible unless I’m somehow raised from the dead

 

 

 

Some dream project for the future?

This entire career and every job I get is a dream. It is entirely and 100% what I love to do. I suppose a dream project would be having enough success to make a film with my best friend who is climbing his way up in the Director’s world.
