Interview with The Southern Stud Earl Cooter
Earl Cooter is a Pro Wrestler and Trainer at Fight the World Wrestling (FTW) and comes from Stinking Creek, Tennessee.
Bernd: Thank you for your time for this interview and i hope you are healthy?
Earl: Sure sounds good.
Bernd: How did you get into the business?
Earl: I got into wrestling after being discovered at a well attended backyard wrestling show by an older local wrestler after he attended because his son was into watching us. he took me and a couple other guys down to a local wrestling school and began to teach us because he thought we were worthy and saw we loved wrestling.
Bernd: Do you remember your first Pro Wrestling match and what was it like to wrestle in front of an live crowd for the
first time?
Earl: Yea my first match was in front of 40 people in a freezing cold warehouse in a very rough neighborhood in queens ny ! It was january and so cold steam was coming out of my mouth the entire match. I was Good on the microphone but terrible in the match , that held true for the early part of my career lol! As far as the live crowd it was cool but i had been in bands and played large venues before so i was pretty used to it.
Bernd: Do you have a funny roadstory you like to share with us?
Earl: One time in canada i saw a local wrestler touch his penis to a cake that was made for an other. He didnt eat it but the promoter did!
Bernd: OMG :-D
Which country you would love to visit next and wrestle?
Earl: I would love to wrestle in japan i feel i am ready and could be great there!
Bernd: What is your family thinking of your passion for the sport, are they worried about your health?
Earl: My family loves my accomplishments in wrestling and gets a kick out of the fact that i have built up some small notoriety after wrestling with some of the most famous wrestlers of all time such as jake roberts etc . I dont think they worry about my health as they realize im a professional athlete and take great care of myself
Bernd: What is your favourite match or opponent from your career and why?
Earl: I have had many matches that have favorite moments, but its hard to say any are my favorite or if i have even had my favorite match yet.

Bernd: When a german Company calls,will you come over?
Earl: I would definitely love to wrestle in Germany! I have never been there and theres no greater experience than seeing a country for the first time and getting to wrestle on a big show while you are there

Bernd: At the last do you have any words for our readers?
Earl: Being a pro wrestler is not for everyone its ok to be a fan and enjoy it. If you are going to try and become one. Please get properly trained and be willing to treat it very seriously. Dont get into it to try and be famous and sut on the internet pretending you are some big star or know it all! Train hard gym hard and be the best wrestler you can be , other wise just watch it at home and enjoy it!
