- How did you get your role in the AMC Series The Walking Dead as Andy?

I had read for the show a handful of times including the very first episode.  Just goes to show that
persistence is important in this field.  Took me six years to book the role of Andy.  I read for a "fake
scene" and sent in my audition.  3 days later I was driving to Georgia where I met the cast and crew and
began filming.  Still unreal to this day.

- Jeremy , did you watch the show or read the graphic novel, prior to
your casting to The Walking Dead?

I had never seen the show or read the comics before being cast.  Once I was cast I went on Netflix and
binged on 5 seasons of TWD and became a huge fan and supporter of the show.  I did look into the character
of "Andy" in the comics to find out that he died pretty quickly... so I assumed I would be killed off in the
same fashion.  Glad to say they didn't follow that story line and wound up being around for 3 seasons

- When you watched TWD the first time do you ever think that you will be a part in this series some day?
When I first saw the first episode, I have to admit... I wasn't really a fan of the show.  But I am like
that with most shows.  Once I really got into it, I was hooked.  It wasn't about zombies, it was about the
relationship between humans and humanity and I think that is what most people enjoy about the show.

- Working with Andrew Lincoln, Jeffrey Dean Morgan , Pollyanna McIntoshor one of the Maincast Members will
be a dream for every
TWD Fan, what can you say about working with some of this guys?

To this day I am still amazed at how amazing the cast and crew are!!  Genuinely THE most caring and down-
to-earth people on the planet.  No egos.  Just dedicated, loving, and professional human beings.  That
really helps new actors on the show become comfortable and inspire them to do their best work.  Working with
Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus on my first day was a little intimidating.  But each cast member really
goes out of his or her way to make sure everyone feels like a welcomed member to the show.

-Before you was a part of TWD you worked in many series like "The Vampire Diaries" as Frankie, "Sleepy
Hollow" as McGrady and many more. What was a special one for yourself?

I believe for an actor every part you book is special.  Every part you learn a little more about yourself,
the business, and what you want from it.  I'll never forget my first film "Never Back Down" where I got to
play football and act.  It was the best of both worlds for me.   Bloodline was the first project that really
helped my career go in the direction I was aiming for.  A part that was small in stature but played great as
part of such a talented cast.

- In "Bloodline" you had a bigger part as Nicholas Widmark. What can you tell us about?

Bloodline was such an amazing experience with such a talented cast.  Kyle Chandler has always been a
favorite of mine, but to perform with Norbert Leo Butz was such an honor and such a great learning
experience.  The rest of the cast made that show what it is.  Absolutely brilliant

- How much has the series The Walking Dead influenced your life? Can you
go outside unrecognized ?

The Walking Dead has absolutely changed my life.  The places I have been able to travel to with
Conventions, the people I have been able to meet, and the opportunities in my career are due to that show
and its amazing fan base.  The fans are like non I have ever met.  They are genuine, real, and caring.  I
use the word fan humbly because I too am a fan.  Not only of the show but of the people who make and support
it.  And I do not get mobbed in real life by fans  Im not Norman.

- Team Negan or Team Rick in reallife? Or maybe a Whisperers?

I would probably still be Team Rick in real life even though JDM and I share a bond with our love of our
Seattle Seahawks.  But I am really intrigued with The Whisperers!  I think they are going to make the show
even better.

- Are you currently working on anything interesting Movie or Series
outside "The Walking Dead" that you can reveal? I saw "Devil in Hand on IMDb

Working on a few projects at the moment and continuing to audition like most actors.  That's the real work.
Getting auditions and getting back to the grind after life on TWD.

- Is there anything else you would like to let The Walking Dead Fans and your fans know?

Keep up with my on social media to find out whats new and places I will be visiting.  I truly appreciate the
support!!
