Please welcome the former CZW Iron Man Champion and Hardcore Star Mad Man Pondo.

First of all, it is a pleasure for Wrestlingjunkies.de, to do this Interview and we thank
you for this opportunity. How are you doing?

---Im doing great. Thank you for thinking of me.



Many Hardcore and Indy Fans known you but can you tell our readers more about your first
steps into the wrestling business?

---I been watching wrestling since i was a child and knew its what I wanted to do. My mom still has papers from school, were they ask the question "What do you want to be in the future". My paper says pro wrestler. My buddy Milt Smith was a collage teacher and had a wrestler in his class. I asked if i could meet with him. So that next day I drove to Onley Il. to meet with Terry Ruion and started Bud Chapman school that very weekend. I been doing it ever since.



You startet wrestling over 20 years ago.Do you remember your first match and what was it
like to wrestle in front of an live crowd for the first time?

---It was June 24 of 89 i wrestled the Avalanche aka Roy Pinrod in Albion Il. My 20th. Not the best match for either of us, but a dream come true. For the crowd i got in trouble for walking out to Nathereths "Now Your Messing With a Son Of A Bitch". Flipping everyone of all the way to the ring.



I know you wrestle many times hardcore and in many deatchmatches.What would you say was
your hardest match or one of this in your time in wrestling?

---I handed Kevin Sullivan a metal rail road spike and told him "lets make this real". He had no problem with that. Shredded my arm up all to hell. But i feel it was a damn good match. I earned his respect.



You wrestle together and each other with many other hardcore stars in wrestling but one guy
is since years at your side.Necro Butcher. How would you describe your cooperation?

---We are good friends. I think we complement each other very well. Hes the ass kicker and I'm the voice. People know when you see us tag togther your gonna get your moneys worth.



Ultraviolent is the style you wrestle. I don´t have to ask if you get hurt in some matches
but did you anytime get hurt very hard?

---I fractured my skull for a company in St Louis called MRW. I tried to keep going but wasn't doing well at it. So i walked to the back and super glued my cut shut. I was dizzy for a month.


Was there a time when you say:Stop i will do this not anymore?

---YES! Bed of pencils was the dumbest thing I have done to this day. I still have graphite marks and a scar on my ass that looks like a shit stain. Its was a rough ride home. And I had tickets for the Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees the next day. Rough ride to the ballpark, rougher sitting in the bleachers, the worst riding home, all with a pencil stuck in your ass cheek.


Pondo you also the owner of IWA East Coast and currently employed by Juggalo Championship
Wrestling.Two companys with hardcore wrestling on his flag.How would you describe this
companys?

2008 you wrestle in Germany.What could you say about your time here and the fans?

---Ive been twice now and had a great time both times. Its a weird feeling that the crowd wants to stand right next to the ring, but what ever works. I hope to come back someday. Hate is awesome.



By the way german. You wrestle a guy from germany in the USA many times.He is the Hardcore
Icon of Germany. Thumbtack Jack. Do you have some rememories about Jack and your matches?

---My last trip to Germany he brought me a DVD of his matches. I watched it and brought him in for the Master of pain. Elkview Adam loved him. Tell he stayed with us at are houses. Big pain in the ass. But he is a hardcore icon and a great friend. From dressing like Hitler to make him laugh, to pulling Ian Rotten off him, I hope he considers me a friend as well.

Wrestler on the road have many times funny storys of this time.Do you have a funny one
which you could share with us?

---Me and the Sandman was on are way to a show but we couldnt find the arena. He told me to pull up to a car at a stop light and he would ask directions. When we got up to the car he yells "There no one driving the fucking thing". It was being pulled by a RV.


When your career has run its course, what do you want to be remembered for the most?

---I dont care what, just want to be remembered. I want to live on even after I die. People to keep me alive. Thats why I keep my body threw mutilation for the entertainment of others. Plus I plan on being a zombie anyway.

And what do you when you not stands in the ring?

--- Spend time with Crazy Mary, horror movies, roller Coasters, traveling, going out to Fearville and sitting next to the fire all hours of the night.
