- Thank you Melanyi for your spontaneous commitment.

What was the moment that you would be an actress?

I've always wanted to be an actress since I was young. Movies like Kill Bill, Charlie's Angels, and Xena Warrior Princess is what inspired me to be on screen.

- How did you get your first role in "Fleck"?

I actually got my role on Fleck through a friend of mine who needed a female actress and that was my very first film I ever did. No film experience other than modeling. I first started out with modeling and then made my way into acting.

- 2020 you worked in "Lucifer" (TV Series) as Party Girl. How was it working in a series together with Tom Ellis?

Tom Ellis is a very laid back guy. Very focused on set, and gives it his all. Didn’t have much time to converse with him long enough but, we did talk for a little bit. Great guy to work with, very professional too!

- In "The Dojo (TV Movie) (post-production)" you work as Maria and you also the Producer. What can you tell us about?

Working on The Dojo was a fun set to work on. I was working with my wonderful husband Ed Gage, and some friends which we have really good chemistry because we all knew each other and we're all good friends. I also did makeup work on this set too and I had to make bruises and bloody noses and scratched up eyes. It only took 3 shoot dates to shoot a whole episode. One of those dates happened to be on my husband's birthday which was Nov 19th. Although I couldn't celebrate his birthday one on one with him so I've decided to surprise him and bring him a cake at the end of the shoot and all our friends were in on it haha. Best shoot ever!!

- What was the best thing or the funniest moment about working on Set?Is there something special you can share with us?

Oh boy where do I begin! There are so many, but I do have 2 of the most memorable films I worked on that was really funny. The first one was Brooklyn Nine Nine, there was an extra that looked exactly like Doc Brown from Back to the Future and everyone kept making Doc references. The 2nd film was Ravage. Although I didn't star in it but, I did do makeup for that set. My husband Ed was one of the main actors on that film and there were so many funny experiences while working on that set and even off set too. We would all crack jokes and always eat at Maggiano's Italian when we wrapped. Best shoot to work on. The director Michael Moutsatous is a really funny guy and awesome to work with.

- Melayni you also work as Model and Make up artist , thats right?

Yes I do! I've been doing modeling since I was 8 years old. My mom was a former model herself and she signed me up to be a model at 8 years old and I would model kids dresses and clothes. But unfortunately I had to quit because I kept missing school so mom took me out. But once I graduated High School I jumped back into modeling. I started doing film makeup just last year because my friend Alejandro encouraged me to try it so I took his advice and here I am! Thanks to him, I am now doing makeup work for films.

- On iMDB is announced that you will work in Deltopia (post-production), what can you tell us about this project?

The cast were wonderful to work with. Very nice people. Greer Grammer is such a sweetheart, she treated me like a best friend. When I worked on this they surprisingly allowed my husband on set when Greer and I wrapped and I formally introduced Ed to everyone on that set. And they treated him well.

- Is there a role or series you would love to work on in the future?

I would absolutely love to work on the show Legacies. It is my dream! Even if it's just a small part, I would love to work on that either as a vampire or a werewolf, that would be cool. And for a movie I would love to work on a Marvel or DC movie.

- Are you currently working on anything interesting Movie or Series that you can reveal?

Yes, I am working on a sequel of Ravage II The Hunted. I won't be starring in it I'll be doing makeup work on it again.

- At the end some words for your fans ?

All I can say is, if you really want something in life, go for it! Success is no accident. It is hard work,  perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you're doing or learning to do.
