Nicole McAuley - Interview with the Star Trek Voyager Actress

- Nicole you played 1999 - 2000 in over 20 Episodes an Starfleet Scientist and Alien Masseuse.

How did you get your role in Star Trek Voyager?

How I got the role on Voyager.  When I was chosen to be the body ans photo double for Seven of Nine I had to have several characters uniforms, as we were in scenes together at the same time.  So I was able to work as the scientist several times.  I also was Borg, a hologram and The Tarlac Masseuse.

- Was you a Star Trek Fan before you work in it or did you watch Star Trek before?

I was a star track fan before I worked on the show.  My parents were Trekkies so I started with the original show.

- You work in Star Trek Voyager as 7of9's, Jeri Ryan´s, photo and body double?

Yes I was the photo and body double for Jeri Ryan as 7of9.

I would so love to be a part of either of the new shows.

I have been very grateful for all I have worked on including both Eddie Murphy's films.  It was amazing to be cast in such incredible  films.

- When you look at your career so far, what was your personal highlight so far?

When I look back at my career the highlights are... I was a living Barbie for Matel and performed at The White House for the Easter Roll.  I was a featured story twice on 60 Minutes with Morley Safer as my interviewer.  But definitely being part of a legendary show as Voyager is a huge highlight!

- Nicole you are not only an Actress , you also Singer,Dancer and MAKE-UP&HAIR ARTIST, thats right?

Yes I have been performing since the age of 4.  Dancer, singer, actress.  I also work as a make-up artist in the entertainment industry as well.  Any thing working in this business is wonderful.

- Zombie Con , Cosplayers Stuck in a Zombie Apocalypse of Anime Proportions, what can you tell us about this movie and "Mama Bear"?

Zombiecon  is a movie that was written, directed and performed by coplayers for cosplayers.  I play Mama Bear who is the mother to Rocket.  She also creates and sews the costumes for her son, Rockets team.  She ends up being kidnapped by a group of zombies so the Rockets Rockets have to go rescue her while saving the city from the zombie apocalypse.  Its a super fun movie.

- Is there still a dream role that you would love to play?

There are all kinds of rolls I would love to play!  Not really just one!

- At the last some words for the Fans outside there?

The only thing I can say is that the Star Trek fans are probably the best fans I have had.  They have been so respectful.   I have not had one negative experience yet.  I appreciate them with all my heart.
