-How did you get into the Wrestling business?
I joined the Highspots training facility in March of 2014. I had been looking around for wrestling school for years but got serious about it after graduating college.
-What is your family thinking of your passion for the sport, are they worried about your health?
I don't think my immediate family understands it other than realizing that I grew up loving WWF. My extended family thinks its pretty cool that I wrestle and/or am following my dream. They are supportive of me, and of course they do worry as well.
- What can you say about your Coach and how long did it take, that it was clear for you to do the first match?
George has always been supportive of me and at about 4 or 5 months I had my first match with his ok.
- Can you still remember your very first Pro Wrestling match and what was it like to wrestle in front of an live crowd for the first time?
My first match is the one I remember most. It was at a building on a fairground, maybe 40 people were seated inside but fairgoers kept walking by and popping their head in to see what was going on. I wrestled Tessa Blanchard who I was really familiar and comfortable with seeing as how we both trained together under George. I remember being anxious, nervous and excited. And when I hit a fisherman suplex someone yelled out "perfect plex!" and it got a cheer. It was a cool feeling and I loved it.
- Pro Wrestling has many legends, do you have any idols? The Rock and Lita are two of my big ones that I loved growing up and have continued to love. Their characters in WWF were ones that drew me in and their personalities outside of wrestling are ones to admire. They have selfless and are always giving back.
-You wrestle as Savannah Evans, is there a story behind the gimmick? Not much of a story right now, moved to NC to train. But the good thing about a story is that it develops as you grow and gain experience. Your story is your life.
- And where did you see yourself in 5 years from now? 5 years from now I see myself happy, continuing to do the things that I love and traveling.
- What goals do you still have, would a major contract be interesting for you or do you feel well in the Indy area?
A major contract is something that I am interested in. I grew up on WWF and my goal is the WWE. I also would like to wrestle overseas. That is another one of my big goals that I hope to achieve soon.
Every wrestler tries to gain international experience, to travel to many countries. Which country you would love to
visit next and wrestle? And do you had the time to make some sightseeing in other Countrys?
Too many countries to name them all. I want to visit several countries in Europe, many islands and south American countries as well. I really do enjoy traveling so the more I can see the better. The downside is that when I travel for wrestling I don't often get extra days to go sight seeing or anything
-When a booker or company will book you where can they contact you? SavannahEvs on facebook
-Is there anything else you would like to let my readers and your fans know?
I do want to say thank you for supporting my dream and hope that there are people supporting each others dreams as well. Thank you so much for the time
Thank you very much for your time and all the best for the future!
