Selene, how did you get into the Wrestling business?
Hello,
It is actually a funny story that some people are aware of but others are not yet. My little brother gave me a WWE Xbox game for Christmas one year. I could not get the character to move the way I wanted to. I mean it was bad. I could not tag in my partner, I would just keep sliding outside of the right. Anyways I was fed up so I decided that it would be easier just to start wrestling myself. I looked up the closet wrestling school, called them, and the rest is history.
What is your family thinking of your passion for the sport, are they worried about your health? – Well my mother is absolutely terrified of it. She thinks I am going to kill myself, she has watched a few of my matches and hated every minute. I have two brothers that think it is pretty awesome. I also have a cousin that supports me a lot. He has been to a few of our Indy shows.
What can you say about your Coach and how long did it take, that it was clear for you to do the first match? – I was trained by a company so I had the opportunity to train with different people. Some were very strict and others were not. I was able to engage in a different styles, which was pretty awesome. It took about 4 months before I had first pro match.
Can you still remember your very first Pro Wrestling match and what was it like to wrestle in front of an live crowd for the first time? – I certainly can remember my first pro match. It was Aug 2013 against Ms. December. It was fun and exhilarating.
Pro Wrestling has many legends, do you have any idols? – Yes, definitely. Matt Sydal, Lita, Samuray del Sol, and plenty more those are my top.
I know you just started your running in wrestling but who was your favorite opponent so far and why? I would have to say Paloma Starr has been my favorite opponent so far. Reason being that we worked very well together we did not really have to talk we just did.
Is there anybody you want to fight necessarily? – Not really, I am good to go against any one.
And where did you see yourself in 5 years from now? – Hopefully traveling out of the country for wrestling.
What goals do you still have, would a major contract be interesting for you or do you feel well in the Indy area? – My goals are simply to have fun and make people happy. Indy or the “big leagues”.
Every wrestler tries to gain international experience, to travel to many countries. Which country you would love to visit next and wrestle? Paraguay would be top on my list.
And do you had the time to make some sightseeing in other Countries? – Most likely not, but it would be nice!
When a booker or company will book you where can they contact you? – Best way to get in contact with me is through Facebook.
Is there anything else you would like to let my readers and your fans know? Yes, no matter how hard something seems you will never know if it is possible if you do not try it yourself.
