- Thank you Stephanie Parker for your spontaneous commitment.

Thank you so much for this opportunity!

- What was the moment that you would be an actress?

For years, I was looking for a way to get back into modeling.  But, God had other plans.  So, I eventually signed with a talent agency in Richmond, VA (Sheri Bias, Liquid Talent).  The funny thing was, although I signed with them as a model, she kept sending me casting breakdowns for actors.  I decided to give it a try.  I booked my very first speaking role through Liquid Talent.  Once I got on set, it hit me that this is where I belonged!

- How did you get your first role in "For my Man"?

At the time, I wasn't represented by an agency close to home.  So, as with so many others, I was constantly searching for roles and self-submitting.  Eventually,  I booked the role as "Police Officer", a featured background role, on "For My Man".

- 2018 you worked in "House of Cards" (TV Series) as Secret Service. How was it working in a series like this?

Working on "House of Cards" was such a blessing and an awesome experience!  I started out as general background in roles such as "Pedestrian" and "Party Attendee" which were booked through casting director Bill Marinella with Bill Marinella Casting.  Over time, and with my background in law enforcement, I was later booked as the only female Secret Service agent in Season 6.  And, I even had the opportunity to work with Robin Wright, who played "Jenny" in one of my favorite movies of all time, "Forrest Gump".

- Stephanie you played many times an Officer or Agent. Why?

I am a former law enforcement officer.  This real life experience led to my being cast in several other roles where they were searching for an actor with real life law enforcement experience.  I was even blessed to book a co-star role in HBO's "We Own This City" (4/25/22 release date) due to my real life law enforcement experience.

- What was the best thing or the funniest moment about working on Set?Is there something special you can share with us?

The best thing about working on set is knowing that it's exactly where God wants me to be.  Now, the funniest moment that I can remember was working on the set of "House of Cards".  In terms of wardrobe, I was actually able to wear my own suit (it was a gray Calvin Klein suit, my favorite designer).  But, the shoes that I had to wear that day were given to me by the costumes department.  Having big feet is often no fun (lol) so they gave me what they had and those shoes were some clunkers (lol).  I was in a scene with Boris Kodjoe (Real Husbands of Hollywood...one of my favorite shows!) and just prior to filming, he approaches me and says "nice shoes".  I responded with, "Don't do that" and we both had a good laugh!

- 2020 you worked in "Wonder Woman 1984" as stand-in. What can you tell us about this Blockbuster and your work?

My experience working on WW84 was nothing short of amazing!  Once again, I was cast by Bill Marinella and had the opportunity to work on the mall scene.  The directors were searching for someone to stand in for the mom and daughter duo in the food court scene and they pulled me right in!  Also, having the opportunity to be directed by Patty Jenkins, work alongside actress Gal Gadot, and watch all of the stunts involved come to life was an unforgettable experience!  I met so many other phenomenal actors as well.  All in all, we had a blast!

- 2021 you are in the Hulu series "Dopesick" with Michael Keaton. Is there something you can share with us?

One thing that I can share is that Michael Keaton is, hands down, my absolute favorite "Batman"! When I found out that I booked my co-star role on "Dopesick" and he was going to be there, I was ecstatic!  The road to booking this role was a long one.  I submitted at least 7 different auditions to Erica Arvold (Arvold Casting, Richmond, VA) for several different roles.  Finally, I received word from my agent Cheri Van Loon (Marilyn's Agency, Greensboro, NC) that Arvold wanted to cast me in my very first co-star role in "Dopesick".  God truly came through for me on this one! Although I never had the chance to meet Michael Keaton there, just to be in the same project and on the same set with such a phenomenal actor was a miracle in and of itself.

- On IMDb i see some pre-production like "Dark Zero 48" . You work as associate producer and script supervisor. What will we see in this Thriller?

This project was written by fellow actor and filmmaker Sharrie McCain.  She invited me to join her crew as both an Associate Producer, Script Supervisor, and now as a Supporting Actor.  This thriller is action packed and will absolutely have you on your toes!  I can't give away much.  But I will say...it's amazing what can happen over the span of 48 hours...

- Is there a role or series you would love to work on in the future?

There are too many to count!  But, after working with my acting coach (Tanya Linette Smith), I've discovered that I actually do really well with the "antagonist" roles.  I'm a really kind-hearted person and will absolutely give you my last, but when it comes to playing different characters, Tanya has shown me that I absolutely shine in a lot of roles that seem to be the total opposite of my actual personality.  In terms of working on various series, I'd love to be cast on Law & Order, Abbot Elementary, The Servant, Afterparty, Real Husbands of Hollywood, City on a Hill, and Flatbush Misdemeanors just to name a few.

- Are you currently working on anything interesting Movie or Series that you can reveal?

Look out for me in HBO's "We Own This City" premiering this April 25th as Officer R.G. French.  I'm currently working on my craft and ensuring that I'm prepared for whenever that next role comes calling.  When I'm not being cast in a principal role for a project, I absolutely love to somehow find my way back onto a set, even if it means being part of the crew!  That's why when filmmaker Victoria Turrentine presented me with the opportunity to work with her on her first indie short film as Associate Producer and Casting Director, I accepted without hesitation!

- At the end some words for your fans ?

God is the "secret" to my success!  He opened the door for me to become an actor, especially after having such terrible stage fright as a child.  I'm following the path He laid for me.  It isn't always easy, but my goodness it's worth it!  No matter what, just know that every opportunity is a gift from God!
