-Thank you for your spontaneous commitment and being a part of "The Global Indy Pro Wrestling World Tour 2016/2017. Can you introduce yourself please?
I'm Ashleigh Stark, the Stark of Slytherin, Queen of Slytherin house and all round bad guy, pleasure to make your acquaintance.
-How did you get into the Wrestling business ?
I got into wrestling because of my grandfather, who was a huge fan of the world of sport era wrestling. He, my brothers and I, all used to watch it together when I was a kid.
-What is your family thinking of your passion for the sport, are they worried about your health?
My family is of course worried about my health, but they know that no matter what I will
pull through any injuries I may get. They're proud of me for following my dreams, even
if it isn't the most conventional career path.
- What can you say about your Coach and how long did it take, that it was clear for you to do the first match?
Jim has done so much for me, I had my first match after ten months but if I'm honest
with myself, I probably wasn't ready. However, it was a good learning experience for me,
and since then I've come along in leaps and bounds to become a worthy talent to be in
Falling Starr Wrestling as a regular wrestler on shows.
- Can you still remember your very first Pro Wrestling match and what was it like to wrestle in front of an live crowd for the first time?
I do remember it, I was very nervous, but it was invigorating to be in front of a crowd.
I come from theatre, so to be in front of a crowd for me is like being home. It's the greatest feeling in the world.
- You work for Indy Pro Wrestling Companys in the UK , what can you tell us about some of this?
I've worked for several companies thus far including All Star and Bellatrix. Both of
them were incredible experiences and I hope to return. It's thrilling to work with new people, and one of the best ways to learn!
-You called the most dominant woman in FSW and Queen of Slytherin house, whats the story
behind? And you a Harry Potter Fan?
I'm a huuuuge Harry Potter fan, it's shaped a lot of who I am both as a wrestler and as a normal everyday person.
Slytherin was the best choice, it's already considered the house for the bad guys, and
it really demonstrates what Ashleigh Stark is all about. She's ambitious, and much like any Slytherin, she won't let anything get in her way.
- Pro Wrestling has many legends, do you have any idols?
I'm a huge fan of Jeff Hardy, and Mickie James too, especially after meeting with her
and training with her. I grew up with Jeff jumping from ladders and Mickie in all her craziness.
- How would you describe an Wrestling Fans from an other Country the Wrestling Events in your Land?
It's indescribable, between the newer style of wrestling and the world of sport era technical wrestler you get this wonderful combination of modern tech that will continue
to evolve with every generation but at the core, it's still the same British style
wrestling that set the world on fire back in the day.
- What goals do you still have, would a major contract be interesting for you or do you feel well in the Indy area?
I have big goals one day, but for now I'm happy where I am. I've got a lot I want to do
on the Indy scene before I'm ready to go to contracted wrestling, but it's definitely one of my goals.
- Every wrestler tries to gain international experience, to travel to many countries.
Which country you would love to visit next and wrestle? And do you had the time to make some sightseeing in other Countrys?
I'd love to go the Mexico, the Lucha style wrestling is something I'm constantly amazed
by. I'd love to train there to, to add the Lucha style to my British style would be amazing I think. And of course I'd love to sightsee! Who wouldn't? Try some food, meet
new people, what could be better?
-When a booker or company from your Country or arround the world will book you where can they contact you?
If promoters want to contact me they can message me on my Facebook page (Ashleigh Stark)
or via my email astarkbookings@gmail.com
-Is there anything else you would like to let the World Wrestling Fans and your fans know?
Just to watch this space, the Stark of Slytherin is here, and I've got venom in my fangs.
Thank you very much for your time and all the best for the future and maybe see you someday in Germany!
