-Thank you for your spontaneous commitment and being a part of "The Global Indy Pro Wrestling World Tour 2016/2017. Can you introduce yourself please? It's my pleasure.
My real name is Andrea Orlandi, knows as in the ring as Pain, I'm 39 years old and i living in a little villagge in Varese Area, the villagge is Viconago.
-How did you get into the Wrestling business ?
I love the Pro-wrestling since I was a child, in 2001 I saw in Internet that are a pro-wrestling school in Italy, so I decided to try and started to train
-What is your family thinking of your passion for the sport, are they worried about your health?
My family never liked, did not support me in this decision, they were worried that I might hurt myself, but finally relented and they let me.
- What can you say about your Coach and how long did it take, that it was clear for you to do the first match?
My coaches at the beginning of my career were different, and decided that I could make his debut after a year of hard training
-Can you still remember your very first Pro Wrestling match and what was it like to wrestle in front of an live crowd for the first time?
I remember we were in a commercial center of Florence.
I was thrilled, especially because that day I had to fight two meetings, playing two different characters
- You work for Indy Pro Wrestling Companys in Italy , what can you tell us about some of this?
In Italy, the pro-wrestling is relatively young, as it has existed for only 16 years.
So we are not at the level of the American or Japanese wrestling.
But some of us can compete with European companies.
In Italy there are many promotions, even though initially they were only 2, but then the ego to blame for some people, there was found to have almost more federations wrestlers.
The federation for which batch, Total Combat Wrestling, it's like a big family where everyone works hard together to give their best to our fans.
In other situations, unfortunately, there are characters that mimic old legends, a few even copying the attire and way of being in the promo, I find it wrong
- I saw you on Facebook with some Champioshipbelts in your hands. Which one did or does you hold?
I won the title against champion TCW Extreme Richy D-Light (from UK), a great pro-wrestlers, while the second title that you saw, I won recently against Oxlade Black and Red Phoenix, so unifying the title Wiva hardcore with that TCW extreme, first time that two federations unify a title.
- Pro Wrestling has many legends, do you have any idols?
When I was a child I love Tiger Mask, Antonio Inoki, Mimi Hagiwara from Japan, than my WWF Idols were Randy Macho Man Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Andrè The Giant and many more, from 1990 The Undertaker and Tatanka.
- How would you describe an Wrestling Fans from an other Country the Wrestling Events in your Land?
Well, we have differents events, depend
Of course, it depends on the various shows.
If the audience consists mostly of children, it is much nicer, because they are real fans, and it's nice to see them screaming for their heroes and cry against evil. They make a lot of noise :)
Whereas when the shows, the audience is formed by so-called Nerds, well depends, not all, but many are there to criticize if a pro-wrestler performs a maneuver in an imperfect, rather than enjoy the show for what it is
What goals do you still have, would a major contract be interesting for you or do you feel well in the Indy area?
At my age, I think I will not aspire to very large targets, but I'd like to wrestle in some European reality, for example in Germany and England.
Every wrestler tries to gain international experience, to travel to many countries. Which country you would love to visit next and wrestle? And do you had the time to make some sightseeing in other Countrys?
Well like I told you in the past question, I would love to wrestle in Europe and of course visit too many countries, my dreams still visit Japan, but I think that is so hard.
When a booker or company from your Country or arround the world will book you where can they contact you?
They contact me writing a messagge at the TCW - Total Combat Wrestling FB page or wiriting an email at bookingtcw@gmail.com
-Is there anything else you would like to let the World Wrestling Fans and your fans know?
Yes, if you happen follow the Total Combat Wrestling and his wrestlers, it is a mix of hardcore wrestling and Comedy wrestling, there is a bit 'of everything in fact.
In addition there are some talented wrestlers
Thank you very much for your time and all the best for the future and maybe see you someday in Germany!
Thank you too Bernd, Thank you too Bernd. I really hope we can meet in Germany for a wrestling show in the future.
